I was just 6 years old when I did my first magic trick. It was a card trick I learned from my Aunt Stella. I believe it was successful, but I drove my family crazy performing the same trick over and over. My advice for aspiring magicians is to do it as a hobby— unless you can’t think about anything else and you have to do it because you’re obsessed about it 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you have to do it, then celebrate who you are and be original, be unique. It’s a difficult career path. It took me 18 years to become an overnight success.
On Angel’s Magic with the Stars , celebrities train with professional magicians and
compete to create magic acts.
