WATCH Magazine: October 2022: Ghosts

MADELINE WISE SHOW: So Help Me Todd CHARACTER: Allison is a middle child, an ER doctor who puts in a lot of effort at work and with her family. She’s a people-pleaser, which gets tricky and is what I most relate to about her: When you’re busy making sure everyone around you is doing all right, you forget to prioritize your own all-right-ness. HOMETOWN: McLean, Virginia HOBBY: Anytime I come home from another country, I try to re-create a dish I ate and loved during my trip. I’ve gotten good at making salmorejo, a Spanish soup similar to gazpacho, and I’m decent at making a Spanish tortilla, though the flip makes me anxious. LAST BOOK READ: Great Granny Webster by Car- oline Blackwood, for a book club that I’m very bad at attending.

LATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: Can I say being cast in a series-regular role on a CBS show? FUN FACT: During a summer abroad in France for college, I started a blog and wrote reviews of cheeses. I had

to stop because I basically gave myself scurvy from eating only dairy for a week. FAVORITE QUOTE: “Be regular and orderly in your life, so that you may be violent and original in your work,” by Gustave Flaubert. Lest you think I’m a super intellectual who reads Flaubert, I first read that quote in an interview Juli- anne Moore gave. She’s the intellectual.
