1 HOMETOWN VIBES I was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, and I miss the Southern hospitality now that I’m in NYC. The sun beams bright in South Carolina. Everyone is friendly and acknowledges each other, and if it wasn’t for my upbringing, I wouldn’t have anything to give as an artist. 2 PRAYER AND MEDITATION This is an essential part of my daily routine. I try to do it nine times a day, just for five minutes, and it’s the key to my mental well-being. 3 HIS OWN TULSA KINGS Getting a role on the Paramount+ series was crazy! Working with [executive producer/writer] Terence Winter and Sylvester Stallone was such an honor. I’ve always enjoyed their work, so I’m grateful for the opportunity. Luckily, I don’t get star-struck. 4 COMFORT FOOD

My mom’s macaroni and cheese is my favorite, even more top-notch when served with collard greens. She’s never taught me how to make it, and that’s okay because it’s one of the things I look forward to when I go home. 5 WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE It’s been said he had an angel over his head when he was writing because his work was perfect. I’m a big fan: His double-entendres, the syllables, they’re all orchestrated brilliantly. My [rap] MC name is Young Phebus, and it’s a nod to a Shakespeare poem where Phoebus is the sun. 6 LATE-NIGHT SHOW Music is my main love, and I currently have four albums out under my Young Phebus name. I can easily be up all night playing with new plug-ins, writing, and indulging in my craft. I will even abandon social gatherings so I can sit at home and work. 7 MOM I tell her every day I’m going to get her a Louis Vuitton outfit when we walk the red carpet one day. I love her so much. I wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for her. I owe my momma everything.
